Okay food with a nice outdoor seating area. Unfortunately the restaurant allows smoking on the patio. If you don’t mind eating dinner while inhaling secondhand smoke this place is for you!

Good pizza not really great. But, the new pizza thins offer a different taste and experience. You also can try the 20 beer challenge and get a cool hoodie or t-shirt. It really is a badge of honor to wear these around town.

Bland tasting pizza. First of all let me state the atmosphere and the service staff were outstanding! The pizza on the other hand was not as good as a 5 dollar frozen pizza. I’ve had pizza across the United States and abroad and unfortunately i’ve never had such a tasteless pizza as i had today. We ordered the 14 inch EBA i.e. everything but anchovies thin crust pizza and here is my analysis. You could get better sauce flavor from a can of tomato paste than this pizza had. I’ve never had a pizza sauce taste this lackluster. The cheese was not stretchy like a high quality mozzarella cheese is. It wasn’t good at all. The first thing i did was salt and add parmesan cheese to help with flavor and seasoning and i NEVER add either to a good pizza. Great pizza doesn’t need seasoning. All i could taste was green peppers and onions. None of the meats had any flavor because there was so little of them on the pie. With out mentioning any names the $5 dollar hot and ready pizza has better taste than a Beer Barrel pizza. The only upside was the pizza crust was in fact exceptional. My advice to the owners is to make a tangy well spiced sauce. Use fresh mushrooms instead of canned. The meats on my pizza were bland. Spice up the sausage and pepperoni and use high quality mozzarella cheese. High quality cheese does not tear it stretches when warm.

RUDE WAITRESS POOR SERVICE. The waitress was rude, disrespectful and argumentative. I’m from a large city home to visit family. Cannot believe the way the waitress acted …..the manager was no help. Whoever hired these people really need to reevaluate their choices…..everyone knows the key to people returning is good service and good food! All I can say is WOW. Food is mediocre and not worth the poor customer service.

Amazing atmosphere and cutting edge on menu I came in one evening with family out of town and expected to be welcomed by normal small town eateries but was in awe over the level of service at the door. The pizza was great and our orders came on time the menu was very innovative but the I will say the smores were what my daughters swooned over and the pretzels were amazing especially the cream cheese for them I even asked for the recipe but got denied and it is homemade when we get back to lima I will be stopping in again28 Oct, 2012Amazing atmosphere and cutting edge on menu

Wings the size of a baby’s fist. We have two Beer Barrels now and more on the way. Great pizza and sandwiches and fast, friendly service. The wings are the best in the region, no question. Big, juicy and not cooked to the consistency of leather like too many wing joints offer. They also have 20 drafts at the Market Street location (about a dozen on S. Dixie) and plenty of by-the-bottle offerings.
