Worth driving for. I think Fat Jack’s pizza is one of the best in the area. I experienced their pizza when working in Lima and found it to be what pizza should taste like. We often drive from Findlay to get a pizza. It’s that good! I compare them to Myles Pizza in BG, Once you eat there, you go back. Wish they would expand to Findlay.
Sub-par and overpriced. Bought a large pizza here. It was edible, on par with a pizza you would expect to buy from a bowling alley or somewhere where their primary business isn’t selling pizza. Crust was okay, sauce was bland, and the toppings were kind of tasteless (except for the black olives, which were strangely overpowering).I’d recommend getting a pizza from a national chain before coming here, especially considering how much they charge.
Served on Cardboard …. Nuf said.. DISGUSTING. My first clue should have been when the pizza was served on a cardboard disc. If that wasn’t obvious enough that the crust is a tasteless frozen mess all I had to do was take one bite. The crust was MUSHY and flavorless. Hands down the most disgusting food I’ve eaten. Don’t waste your money, Totinos frozen pizza is better (and that’s BAD).
Best Pizza in Lima. I consider myself a bit of a pizza connoisseur, and Fat Jacks consistently has the best pizza in Lima. I’ve had better, but not in this town. They do a typical mid-west style square sliced pizza (rather than cut in wedges). Crust is perfect, being neither too thick or thin. Sauce is tasty, they use oregano in the sauce, which I love, but some people are picky about it. They recently opened a location in Shawnee… not much atmosphere, and it took them awhile to get the pizza as good as their other location, but they’ve since come around.
