  Competition worthy. Small, not much seating and you order from the counter, but the food is terrific. The menu is posted on a board behind the counter. Besides the dinners, sandwiches and sides there are a few dessert options. Ribs come in full slbs or half-slabs but I just ordered the dinner. I got about four ribs, sides of collared greens and yams, and a cornbread muffin. The ribs were big, meaty and tender. Just enough sauce to provide a little extra flavor but mostly as enhancement for the great smoked flavor of the meat. Ribs like these don’t need a lot of sauce, and thankfully, the people running the Rib Cage know it. The collared greens were perfect. Very tender, yet firm. Seasoned just right (so many places use way too much salt, Acent or whatever seasoning of choice) with bits of pulled chicken throughout the side. And the yams were excellent. Again, tender but firm, their natural sweetness came out. The cornbread wasn’t anything too special, but it perfectly fit in with the meal. This place is the real deal when it comes to soul food.
