The food was good. The chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes were very good. The CFS was very large. I would definitely order it again. Fillet Mignon medallions were quite tasty. The potato skins were served the long way and had a nice balance of toppings. Serving staff was helpful & polite, especially Bailey out waiter. Only complaint was that the tomatoes in the salad were over rripe.
No hot potato. Service and steak delicious as usual, however my baked potato was barely warm. My server promptly replaced it with another potato, which was also cold. I gave up and tried to eat it anyway. It is VERY important to me to have my food served hot. Disappointed this time.
Standard Texas Roadhouse. This place is on-par for a Texas Roadhouse. The steaks are always a good cut of meat, although the doneness has varied quite widely in my visits. Probably one of your best bets for a reasonable quality steak in Lima.
Poor Execution. Flavors were good as expected, but both our steaks were nearly well done when medium was requested. My ribs were delicious but ice cold. Service was great, but the kitchen needs a kick in the @$$. This is the second time we’ve had these issues here in the last few weeks.
Good steak done perfectly, exceptional friendly service, and a good value.
