Food was very average and covered in sour cream. Salsa was very bland.
This place is definitely open and amazing. I am from Phoenix and I know Mexican food. I wouldn’t say this is authentic Mexican but it is much better than most Ohio Mexican attempts. I have ventured through Logan’s culinary offerings and I would suggest this place first to anyone visiting the hocking hills area. Skip bush’s and the ole Dutch and come here!
Had a lot of fun driving in circles trying to find this place, but unfortunately this ristorante does not exist! It’s closed.
My husband and I decided to try this because of reviews. The food was good. My husband got the crazy burrito which was huge and he said it was good except to much sour cream. I had fajitas mixed. I only got three pieces of shrimp..not worth the extra 1.50. We had the fried cheesecake….it was alright, not very crispy. As far as service, our waitress was awful. She messed up our drinks and thru the receipt down and we were like ‘We want dessert’….
Good Mexican. As a previous review stated you never know what you are going to get with Mexican food. I have been to some well known Mexican places that are just bland. That was not the case here. The food was very good. The salsa for the chips had a great flavor without burning your face off. We had burritos with beef, enchiladas with chicken and a chimichanga with shredded beef. All were really good. If you are near Logan, Oh and feel the need for Mexican food this is the place to go.
Wonderful Authentic Mexican. Not only is the building beautiful inside and out, but the atmosphere is just wonderful! The employees don’t speak english fluently but they always know what you want and can answer any questions. This is the best mexican that I have had next to the food i ate in Mexico. Wonderful place for family with a menu specially for kids.
Good Mexican Fare in Hocking Hills. First off, for those whose GPS does not find this restaurant, it is located off of Lake Logan Rd. Take 33 to 664 and head South. Lake Logan Rd is the first road on your right. There used to be a located in downtown Logan. That location closed.I love Mexican food and always go into a new Mexican joint with low expectations. You just never know what you’re going to get, though Mexican seems simple. The food here was really good. It’s definitely a step above your typical Mexican joint. There was no wait to be seated. Though it was a Tuesday night in Logan. My guess is this would place would be much busier in busy season (summer). Our waitress had weak communication skills. I wasn’t sure if she understood me or not. But I guess she did. She didn’t talk much which made me think her English was not very good. I would definitely go back here the next time I’m in the area.
