This is the BBQ in the area of Hocking Hills. The wait staff is great. You simply can’t go wrong coming here. Add in the super easy access off 33 & 664 and it’s a complete win. Sit on the patio and enjoy the my suggestion. I’ve actually been here in 2015 & just a few days before this review in 2016. Keep it up!!
Have visited three times, food is always spot on amazing! The burnt end appetizers are awesome, the muffins are really good. Anything that comes from the bbq pit is spot on and amazing, I’ve done the sample platter. Good chance you’ll wait but the food is worth it.The problem is the service, one of the three times a server didn’t key our entrees but at least she was honest about it. Today I think the same thing happened because we waited about forty minutes for entrees and my wife and I both got bbq meat items which should have been a quick fix because they smoke it all in advance. Oh yeah, only two bbq sauce flavors? Come on folks!Food is a five, but poor service is way worse than bad food and gets you a 3.5.

Saw this driving down the highway. This place has an incredible atmosphere and the food was cooked to perfection. The pulled pork was good and tender. Highly recommend eating here!
We loved it! Great food, great service! Try the smoked turkey – yum! We took home extra cornbread muffins because they were so awesome. We will be back on our next trip to Logan.
Worst experience. It was a 45 minute wait because the hostess could not conceptualizer putting tow small tables together to seat 6 people. When I suggested it the then seated a party of 3 and told me they thought I was with them. I was standing 10 feet away and not looking in their direction. They seated about 10-12 parties ahead of us waiting for a special table. The food was average at best. Portions were not hearty. My son ordered a combo plate $3+ more than my plate and received the same portion. We questioned the server and he told us it was correct. Two of our party ordered a beef wrapped in bacon dish which appeared totally black and dried out. Our waitress have one volume LOUD!! The parking lot was primarily occupied by motorcycles, one name in particular. I attempted to share my experience with the manager, who was tending bar. She looked at me when I asked if she was the manager and told me she would be right with me. She the proceeded to strike up a conversation with a bar patron. This was my first and last visit. My family loved BBQ, but we will drive by or try the Mexican restaurant on our next dining visit to Logan, Ohio.
