Passing through to visit family and was trying to find somewhere to eat in the middle of no where. We thought we were going to have to settle for Bob Evans until we spotted this place from the road and how busy it was. I thought busy = good, oh wow was I correct. The Brisket was juicy, and the Smokehouse Burger is amazing. Also, the Bacon Wrapped Burnt-Ends appetizer is a must try. I wish we had this restaurant in Florida, but next we come back through Ohio we will go out of our way to stop here.
Not bad but not great. Brisket was tender. Portions are small. They only have 2 sauces. I’ve had better sauces but they aren’t bad. Beer taps were down at the bar so they didn’t really have any good beer choices. This is really the only joint in town for BBQ.
We went here the other day, my husband got pulled pork, brisket, Mac and cheese, and beans. I got a salad with smoked turkey. My husbands brisket and pulled pork were very good, juicy with lots of smokey flavor, his sides were okay at best (I don’t like it when baked beans are swimming in sauce.) My salad was decent, but I would have preferred more of a smokey salvor to my turkey. I would have gotten the salad again but with pulled pork instead. The servers and atmosphere were both great! If I was in the area again, I would go back!
