Yum. We just visited Amie’s for the first time. I’d heard good things about their pizza; they seem to do well on the local competition scene. I went with my wife and two boys – 3.5 years old and 1 year old.The staff was great – even though my little one is a bit of a squealer.Everyone loved the pizza. It reminded me of The Original Gino’s Pizza – with some subtle differences that I liked. The sauce has a touch of sweetness. The cheese is crispy at the crust edge. The bread sticks were pillow-y – not just a rehash of their pizza crust. They were nice – and inexpensive.Everyone left full and happy.
How do you mess up pizza?. I have always liked amies. But lately every time we go we have to repeat our order and yet they still mess it up! I don’t really enjoy their pizza anymore either.
Dislike. Pizza is one of those really hard things to screw up. I usually won’t turn down any pizza- I mean I really dislike cottage inn, but if it’s in front of me, sure, I’ll have a piece. However, I can not stand Amie’s! And it’s terrible cold too! I worked in an office that always ordered Amie’s so the first time I had it, I figured it was a fluke, but unfortunately it’s just bad.
