An OK place to eat, by it is no longer reasonable. Food quality has dropped over the years rather dramatically for some items. They quit serving free biscuits years ago which made us visit less frequently. They remodeled but it lost the hint feel. It’s ok, but small mom and pop places are a better choice.
I agree, BE has moved into the city. We always loved the banana bread they served until our last visit. The banana bread looked and tasted like somethng you can buy at your local grocery store’s in-house bakery, not that super moist nut filled loaf BE was known for! Our serve was extremely slow and our coffee cups were not re- filled unless we asked our waitress. When our food did arrive, it was either cold or incomplete and the manager brought each item, one at a time, with no explainations as to why. My scrambled eggs tasted more like a pasturized egg product than real fresh farm eggs! Maybee BE needs to go back to the farm!!
