Chef Marky. Just had lunch at Domo Sushi. What a wonderful experience. The employees were fantastic, and the sushi rolls were the best in Toledo. Very clean place, including the restroom……. Very clean with hot water at the sink…… If you know what I mean………. I will definetly be back to Domo Sushi…….. Great place.
One of the best dining spots in the Toledo area and by far and away the best sushi. Try the peppercorn tuna dinner. To die for.
Freakin’ good!. Husband and I went to Domo last night for dinner with another couple. Virgin Domo consumers all of us. Sat down and surveyed the surroundings…..nice. Very nice. Lots of adults, no Tvs…two biggies for me. Restroom, cool. Clean, well equipped, ventilated. Have a thing for judging the restaurant via the cleanliness and accoutrements of the restrooms. Extensive menu, extensive drink list…needed time to read through them, talk with the other couple and relax. Spencer, our waiter, was most accommodating for our lag time in ordering. In the meantime he gave us good recommendations for a few great beers to start with. Our appetizer the ceviche was SUPERB! Excellent flavor, a bit of heat to it, just like we like it.Our sushi was very good, well presented. Spencer gave us an explanation of what each roll was, brought us another drink and left us to enjoy our food… periodically checking in on us. Love the fact that every employee walking by us stopped to remove dirty dishes or to ask if there was anything we needed. A simple step many restaurants neglect, and I mean neglect, to do. If an employee walks by my table, their hands had better be full or else they MUST stop to remove dirty or unused dishware or utensils. Hate sitting at a table that needs to be bused and an employee, any employee walks by with empty hands and does not offer to take them away. Spencer was fun, had good recommendations and was a great server. Overall, all four of us thought the place was a ker per. Glad we tried it.
Worst Service I ever had !!! The food was ok , but the wait staff made it the worst experience my wife and I have had in a long time. My waitress and no personality and was rude as all Hell. Then she ordered only a soup and our waitress rolled her eyes. The worst part was tracking her down to get more salad dressing , and to pay our bill. We will go where there is always great sushi and service !!!! That is Sakura ‘s
Amazing. Hands down the best sushi
Clean, straightforward Japanese.. Not a lot of frill and gimmicks, just good tasting, well-prepared sushi and calamari. I’ll be back.
I have been a loyal patron of this family-owned and operated restaurant since the 90’s when it was Korean Folk Village. The best sushi in town is right here. Generous portions for a sushi restaurant, delicately flavored sauces, friendly service, not too crowded. My whole family enjoys eating here every other week and we are never disappointed. Try the spider maki roll (soft shell crab) as it is the best I have had even comparing to New York and LA.
