Sooo good. Best sushi place in Toledo by far. I’ve tried almost all the places in the area and nobody comes close to Kyoto ka. Great service and nice atmosphere. Food is great and fun.
One of the top sushi places in Toledo but a bit pricey. they do have lunch specials tho if u go before 2 p.m. here’s a tip: ask for some sesame dressing on the side with your sushi and dip it as u would do with soy sauce…. amazing! ull thank me whoever u r!!
Sixty dollars later: I am not full, the sushi was overly smushy and chewy. I got the wrong order. Waiter socialized instead of doing his job and didn’t offer a solution. To sum it up: Bad food. Bad service. Overpriced. Never returning.
Good Sushi. I love Sushi. I travel A LOT for business and eat Sushi almost everywhere I go because my wife doesn’t like it so I eat it when I am traveling and go to places she likes when I am with here.I went on a Tuesday night, there were 4 parties at tables and the Sushi Bar was empty. I was buy myself and sat down in front of the two Sushi specialist behind the bar. I like sitting at the Sushi Bar and watching them make my stuff.I ordered a Tuna Roll and a mixture of Tuna, Snapper and Sea Bass Sushi pieces. All of it was good.I was actually a little taken aback by the amount of fish used on each piece of Sushi. It draped onto the plate on both ends of the rice ball and was cut a little thicker than I have ever had at a Sushi Restaurant. Between the length and thickness of the slice of fish I would guess each one was 2x the amount of fish on most pieces of sushi I have eaten.Getting a lot would not matter if it wasn’t good…and it was.I can’t speak to any of the Japanese or Chinese entrees as all I had was Sushi, but I can say that I was satisfied and would not hesitate to go back for Sushi.
Worst Way to Spend Money.. Won’t be coming back again. Went there for dinner and ordered sushi and the salmon smell and tasted funny. (By this i mean it wasn’t FRESH!!) To the point where I ended up not eating any of it.
NO one in TOLEDO is even CLOSE. We eat Sushi all over…my GF travels every week, and eats Sushi 2 times a week! Once on the road, and Friday Nights at Kyoto Ka! Everything on the menu is pictured and explained very well. I was a California Roll guy until I started here. Now? Eel, octopus, the list goes on. SIT AT THE SUSHI BAR, introduce yourself to Joe.. FAVORITE DISH???? We watch him prepare an arrangement, and just order…what they had lol….Everything is spot on fresh, tasty, and wonderfully presented. IF YOU LIKE SUSHI? you can’t be disappointed
Hands down my favorite sushi restaurant I’ve eaten at so far. I love sitting at the sushi bar and chatting with the chefs, who are all very nice. They have fantastic sushi and their green tea is of high quality loose leaf. It is my favorite splurge restaurant.
