I can’t believe how bad this restaurants food was. The chips were the worst I’ve ever had. I honestly wish I had sent my meal back and left!

Don’t let the masses of people fool you! I cannot fathom why it’s so busy. Not impressed. Took forever to get service, salsa, chips and food. We were there more than an hour with no food. Once it came, we wished we would have left instead of waiting. Bland. Poor American interpretation of Mexican.

Hands down the best margarita in the country. I travel all over and have yet to find a marg to top these. Everytime I have brought in out of town guests I have yet to disappoint!

Nice Spot. I really like this place. It’s in a nice location, it’s quaint, it has history, a nice environment and decor and good food. It is really relaxing. They have a really nice wall piece of the Mayan calendar. I’m tempted to ask if I can have it haha. But seriously, very good spot. I don’t know what it is about their tacos, but they are really, really, really good. Definitely have to try the tacos.

Overrated has been. The food here is terrible, you have to pay for chips and salsa, and the only redeeming quality are the margaritas. Honestly, this place is basically a bar that offers some cheap food to help you sober out (beware the State Highway Patrol building sits across the street). The burritos were lukewarm, the beans and rice are out of a can, not fresh. The fajitas were unimpressive and the dining room service was fast, but not very friendly. This place is a bar first and foremost, don’t kid yourself, the long tradition has long gone away and it is living in it’s past. Toledo has better Mexican options.

Best gound beef enchilada in Toledo. I was born in Toledo in 1954. This was the first Tex Mex restaurant in Toledo. Many go here for the drinks, I go for the enchiladas… absolutely the best!

MARGARITAS!!!. These margaritas are the best (strong!!) that I’ve ever had!! (Watch out…they will sneak up on ya!!) My drink of choice is always a margarita. Cajun chicken nachos and Cajun chicken enchiladas are great! Fun atmosphere. Jeanie is my favorite hostess!
