AMAZING. Fantastically delicious and so much fun to go to! The German chocolate cake sundae is extraordinary and definitely big enough for two. Make sure to bring cash!!!the next couple of times i went, however, it wasn’t as good.
Fair Price with Okay Quality on Brink of Bargain.. Not the best quality ice cream but for the price you can’t beat it. Open seasonally and be prepared to wait. Also CASH ONLY!! The only place around town that has Fat free ice cream which actually taste good.
A regular, reliable place. With a lot of competition in the ice cream/frozen yogurt market (Handels, Toppers, Charlies, Koala Berry) to name a few, Mr. Freeze is still a regular and reliabile place that is inexpensive. That being said, it is plain vanilla compared to some of the other places – but the price is right. The only knock are the long lines during the summer, but a fun place to people watch! No Complaints, but my personal preference is toward real ice cream or the new style of frozen yogurt places where you can always have it your way.
Best Buckeye Sundae’s. Mr Freeze is the best. Yes, their portions are big so go down a size, even the junior sizes are more than enough or ask for a cup to share. Their prices are very reasonable, service is generally quick but part of the experience is waiting in line on a hot summer night. Buckeye sundae’s are the best in town but their cones are great, too. Everyone wishes that they were open year round.
This is the best soft serve ice cream place in Toledo. The lines are long, but it is worth it. All of their sundaes are yummy. I like the smore sundae, grasshopper, and banana thing. My favorite is a super freeze with cookie dough and reeses pieces with twist ice cream. Servings are HUGE!
Great ice cream at great prices. Be warned though, they give you a lot of ice cream so ask to see sizes or order a size smaller then you normally would.
