Wonderful atmosphere with attentive staff. Though it was packed we were treated well without being rushed. The food is quite tasty, but traditional. They have an impressive fresh fish selection! I would not hesitate to return. Small but impressive wine list.
Poor Restaurant. There are far many better places to go and spend your money where you are treated like royalty and are served the finest at reasonable prices — suggest you search them out — this place won’t last unless they change for the better —- note to mgmt —WAKE UP!!!!
GFS quality food. I had the lump crab cakes. They tasted very gamey almost like freezer burn fish taste. Tried the wild mushroom soup. All you could taste was black pepper. Waiter was slow and could not answer any questions about the entrees correctly. How does this place stay in business? Old people are most of the customers.
This place is great. .. loved the food very good wine list with so many great choices. A must go to when in the Toledo area
Name of the Game is Consistency. Rosie’s Italian Grille has been a favorite since the upgrade from Pizza and Hot Mama Bread (though these are still available). In our opinion, Rosie’s Lobster Brisque is the best in town (Thanks Phil & Betsy). Every entree we’ve tried, especially the specials of the day, has been outstanding. Last time out we had the Chicken Fettuccine – tantalizingly delicious. Had to take much of it home; equally good the next day. Others in our party had the Italian Sausage and one of their remarkable fish dishes. The kids still love the pizza and the hot mama’s bread (which we struggle to avoid for all the obvious reasons). The ambiance is inviting and comfortable. Super staff, always well informed. Great place for couples, friends, family, small party or large. Love the patio. Inviting spacious bar, well located yet separated from dining areas. All in all, a fine dining experience.
Get the philly steak stromboli!. Their stromboli’s are my FAVORITE food. It is worth the $11, and the portion is pretty good. They also have really good lobster bisque. Just don’t get their pizza, unless you can handle the grease. The lighting is nice and the place just makes me feel comfortable. They some times have live music at the bar. I used to go here with my grandparents when I was a kid, before they renovated the place. Their food still tastes exactly the same 10 years later.
It is italian. It is traditional italian and neuvo…..Phil does a great job of maintaining the originallity of his family and the recipe for comfortable dining. I reccommend this restaurant to anyone looking for true Italian
