Taruman will be closing for good on December 27th 2017. Spoke with the owner last week. She is headed home to Korea to visit her parents. We sure will miss the restaurant, but are happy that she is able to visit her parents for the first time in 3 years.
Taruman has great tasty Sushi at excellent prices. I like the hand rolls that you don’t see everywhere and also the dragon roll. The owner-chef is very nice. I wish they were open Saturday.
This is definitely Toledo’s hidden gem. the sushi is amazing I love their (California crunch, magical mystery, monster, and dragon rolls). the owner is a sweet Asian woman and the one waiter is her daughter they are so sweet. my favorite place and u just can’t match their prices considering the amazing quality! never was disappointed!

Anything with eel or tuna!! and salmon too. I adore Taruman and would go there if only it were closer to where I live :(. Taruman is a small sushi restaurant that caters more towards to than for eating in. Not to say you can’t but it’s small in the sense of most To Go Chinese restaurants. A couple of tables and maybe a few seats at a sushi bar. The couple times I’ve been there the chef was a younger looking asian lady who had great craft. Their eel is great, not undercooked and always piping hot how I like it. Tuna rolls taste awesome, salmon always fresh, avocado never browning. The prices are amazing too! This place is one of those best kept secrets and bargain deals. It’s small enough that they’ve also only ever had one waitress whose friendly and able to help you out if you want suggestions as to whats best. I like it when I go to a place and someone can be honest and tell me what people do and don’t like. I don’t want to hear that everything is good because there is always that odd role that only truly seasoned sushi people enjoy (Hello Spider roll, I still cannot handle your fatness). Long Story Short. Go to Taruman if you’re in the neighborhood. 😀

Taruman sushi is a great little place that offers in my opinion some great sushi for a great price. For my money I won’t go anty were else.
