I don’t have a lot to tell you about this place, as I only ever get one thing here – croissants – although the shelves and display cases are lined with wonderful things, both savory and sweetThe croissants are, I believe, the very best that can be found in Greater Cincinnati, and thank you Ms Campbell for bringing them to my attention. They generally have a plain butter, chocolate, almond, and a ham and cheese croissant available, although I’d bet they’d do other fillings with a large enough prepaid order. Hours are limited (as others have mentioned, its rather odd for a bakery to open for the day at such a late hour….9am) and finding nearby parking can be a bit difficult, but well worth the stopStrongly recommendedUPDATE 20151125: in addition to my usual croissant, had a small cookie called an amaretti for just a dollar. The taste and texture were like that of a very good brownie lightly crisped on the outside, plus a notable almond flavor. Very good.
