Overrated. I can’t believe this place got 4 & 5 stars. I got an original gyro. Definitely have had better. The meat was in chunks instead of sliced and it had too much of a blue cheese taste. And for the price you only got potato chips. They should have offered fries.
Nice. I enjoyed the gyro platter with sweet potato fries and a beer. I thought it was reasonably priced, and the place seemed pretty busy for a Thursday night. I sat at the bar, and the bartender was busy but took care of me just fine.
Best gyros ever!. Great food, prices,people,staff, and management. I was really surprised to read some of these reviews. I would recommend the Grandview location to everyone.
Late night bites. After Jazz & Ribs Fest, we were ready for food without long lines and paper plates, and for cocktails. We stopped by Jimmy V’s and had gyro salads. Cocktails/drinks were promptly served, server was attentive. Salads were great – very large, plenty of gyro meat. Meat was very salty, like most gyro meat I suppose! Comfortable atmosphere. Not great or fine dining, but overall good experience.

J&D. I don’t understand what the problem is. We go there EVERY weekend, Saturday and/or Sunday. We alway enjoy the patrons as well as the staff. Admittedly, we always sit at the bar, so I can’t comment on the servers. Foods always been consistant. Bartender, she knows her stuff! I’m the special order king, and that doesn’t seem to throw anyone. I enjoy having a neighborhood spot to go.
I used to love going to Jimmy V’s last summer good food good staff everything was great about this little pub I come back this year and it was the worst experience I have had in a long time in a restaurant the waitress had no idea what I was talking about on the menu and could barely speak English I’m sorry if your going to work in a restaurant you need to know your menu and be able to have the customer understand you and you understand the customer. I used to love this restaurant but now its looking not so good Sunday funday at Jimmy’s used to be the best but the bartender is slow when you get drinks they are warm and not poured correctly he has no idea what he is doing either I wish Jimmy’s had the same staff as last summer then that would make me want to return.
