Without a doubt the best Italian place in Columbus. Really solid menu, fantastic value, and fabulous specials. Had the ox tail ragu (special) a few weeks ago and it knocked my socks off.
I love this place. Original, fresh, handmade, all staple characteristics of a fantastic Italian neighborhood joint. The dining room is super cute, as it is a mix grandmas dining room with pops of modern green and metal. The printed menu features several standard options for salad, pizza, pasta, while a chalkboard menu offers up fresh daily specials to choose from.
If you haven’t tried la tavola you are missing out. I still will never forget the pheasent knocchi I had there over a decade ago and the whole experience has always been wonderful. The new location is much more casual and reminiscent of grandmas kitchen and feels just as full of love. Do yourself a favor and give it a try.
Very very loud. Great food, nice specials, good service. Inside the restaurant … its incredibly loud to try and have a conversation.
Three adults, 2 apps, 2 entrees, 1salad, 1 pizza, 3 desserts!! Delicious !
