Taco Bell deserves a Reward vs Talita’s bland disgusting Meal :(. I should have known something was wrong when they said they offered Italian Food . The absolute worse Mexican Food ive ever had. $13 for a a smothered burrito that had absolutely no flavor ( no salt, no pepper, no anything ) from the hamburger , the cheese , and even the enchilada sauce. The spanish rice looked like gummy white rice and was extremely salty. The refried beans tasted like it came from the can with sprinkles of cheese on it. No queso only cheddar cheese . . weird for a mexican restaurant!Taco bell or your favorite Chain Mexican food Restaurant is totally worth it vs this! I should have read the reviews! The only nice thing i can say is the food was hot & customer service was nice.
Worth a Try. We must have Mexican food weekly and usually end up driving to Chile Verde on Sawmill or Catina Laredo at Polaris for our fix. We decided to try Talita’s after getting their Groupon and thought it would be good to find a closer Mexican restaurant that we like. El Vaquero and Fiesta just don’t do it for us. Pros: Affordable food and drinks, friendly staff, delicious corn nacho and enchilada sauce, homemade sauces on the table.Cons: No tequilla options and margs are a sweet’n’sour mix, chips and salsa aren’t free, salsa tastes peppery, beans and rice aren’t the bestI’d suggest the beef or chicken chimichanga with a side of enchilada sauce.
Wow. That was horrible! I went into Talita’s for their big burrito and was sorely disappointed. My gf got the layered enchilada and could barely find the enchilada under the sauce in the plastic microwaveable bowl. If you want microwaved unauthentic Mexican food, definitely go there. The only good thing about my experience was the waitress Juli who was very friendly. I spent less money on fresh seafood at the beach in North Carolina this past weekend. What a waste of $35.
This is by far my favorite restaurant. I drive down from Delaware twice a month. The flour nachos rule.
Love this place. When Frank had his shop up north, I used to eat there all the time. Loved the green chili and the Corn Nacho with jalapenos. When he closed up shop I figured I’d never see the place again. Surprise! Ran into his place in Grove City while on a Motorcycle Polar Bear run. Same food, same Frank!I try and stop in every time I head to the south end of Columbus.
I have been there many times over the past few years. The service is the best. Frankie, the owner, meets you and seats you. The food used to be great. Lately the food has been so salty I can’t even eat it! I won’t be back until I forget how bad it was last time.
Hungry for a burrito? I mean really hungry? This is the place to go. Great food & great friendly service!
