Financial Exploitation of Consumers & False Advertising. Let me tell you about this place… They advertise a special outside on their billboard & windows $2.19 Breakfast special, which is: 2 eggs, home fries & toast.. * But when you get inside & order, You are told You MUST buy a drink in order to get the special.. Yet, there is nothing at all advertised like that, it simply says: $2.19 special, 7Am-11AM every day.. ( with the included fries, eggs, & toast) ..that’s all it says, it does NOT say With Purchase! .. Same with the signs for their lunch & dinner specials, they do NOT say With Purchase! I feel this is financial exploitation of consumers, as well as false advertising & violation of our civil rights by refusing the special to us & by ordering us to leave the restaurant if we refuse to order a drink with the special. Tell you friends to pass this one by.. Food not that great. If you don’t like mixed veggies don’t expect to be able to change to a different side dish. Owner says the mixed veggies are free and sides would cost money. $7.99 for clam strips and fries that were overcooked and salad (don’t forget the free veggies) is a little steep. Plus while our waitress was excellant there was a boy dusting in the immediate area when we were eating. When I asked him to stop he made sure to shake the duster before leaving to go to the other side of the room. On the way out I explained that it’s rude to clean over someones food and that should be done after hours or in an unoccupied room. He decided to smack the duster in our direction on the wall. DEFINATELY NOT A PLACE WE WILL EAT AGAIN. TELL YOUR FRIENDS.
