Well I really DID like the banana leaf until Thursday may 26 th …. We were a party of six we made reservations … restaurant was not busy and we waited 50 minutes for our drink orders!!!!! when we asked the waitress where our drinks were she said oh they are just made… We commented it it’s a 50 minutes and this was unacceptable and we needed to see a manager . Her reply was that there was no manager just the wait staff tonight. We got up and left it’s a shame but I will never come back to the restaurant because this is the second time the service has been so so bad
Excellently prepared Thai food. In an old home. Beautiful garden. Spring rolls were great, fresh summer rolls were refreshing. The Pad Thai was delish! Well presented and would definitely return.
Only ok. Food was nothing special. Good decor, but gets too loud. Also, very crowded tables, not a lot of room between. Service was ok. Not recommended.
Hands down best Thai food I have ever had! My husband and I love this little place in downtown Mason! Banana Leaf is definitely our favorite restaurant!
Food was amazing! Highly recommend the drunken noodles and panang curry. Service was fast and wait staff was friendly. Very interesting building.
Food was excellent. However all other aspects of my meal were lackluster. Placed a reservation for a quiet spot for a birthday meal and was instead seated next to a group of eight young people who screeched the entire time. We had heard that the macarons and french press coffee were phenomenal and in fact chose this place based on that desert choice. However due to the long wait on our food my girlfriend and I were too annoyed to wait longer for desert. Did not feel taken care of. I know I can’t blame the restaurant for loud guests but they could have been more attentive to my needs.
Continue to be disappointed with the customer service. Unbelievable! Change your hours if you do not want to serve until the time stated on your website. I have been turned away too many times. I do not recommend! The owners do not care about repeat customers…. don’t even know who I am and I eat there almost 1x every week… not any more!
