I have to say they are better than Dunkin Donuts but that’s really it. The maple bacon long john sounded like a good choice but there wasn’t any taste to the bacon bits. I put a strip of fresh bacon on it and that made it great. It’s close so I’ll go back due to morning laziness but if I have the time, I’m going somewhere else.
Who can pass by a donut shop without stopping to check it out? I certainly can’t. When I ventured upon Daylight Donuts, I felt uninspired by the meager and unimaginative selection in the showcase. I tried a toothpick-impaled glazed yeast donut snippet and thought it was just OK/ordinary, not unlike Dunkin’ Donuts’ mediocre fare.
