What is closing time at this place?. I’ve been here twice in the past month, both on Saturday nights. The first Saturday our server told us at 11pm it was last call, the other patrons had already cashed out and we could have some beer if we wanted it. She was very rude and just seemed annoyed that we were even there. The next Saturday evening I was there last call was yelled out by the bartender at 9:45pm – on a Saturday? Please try to make patrons feel welcome and appreciated. How about posting some hours and sticking to them.. Even if closing time is 11pm on a Saturday, post the hours so people know if they are looking to have some drinks at 10pm don’t bother coming to The Lucky Dog Grille. Go somewhere that the servers aren’t rude, nasty and make you feel like you’re an annoyance. Go to James Third Base up the road, they are open and treat you like a decent human being.
Horrible Customer Service. We visited this place only twice. Should have learned our lesson the first time we went there and never went back. But we decided to give them a try the second week, because their smoked wings are actually pretty good. We received the worst service the first time… The server acted like she just wanted to go home and kept telling us how tired she was way before closing time. She made us feel like we were a bother to her. We were a group of 10 and had food and drinks. When we asked for some shots, she said that she really wanted to go home. So we ended up not even ordering our shots and just asked for our checks and left. Following week, we decided to give them an other try… But this time we didn’t even order anything because we didn’t even feel welcomed so we ended up leaving and going to a different restaurant. We will never return to this restaurant again!!!!

Food is good but the service is HORRIBLE!!! It took close to 20 minutes to take our order then 45 minutes to get it. Our waitress had the personality of a piece of paper and actively avoided looking at us while our drinks sat there empty and we’re waiting for our food. My husband’s food came out 5 minutes after everyone else’s. It would take a lot for me to go back.
Service is terrible. My waitress was drunk. Tried to give me her number when my girlfriend went to the restroom. Took forever to get our food. Food was cold when we got it.
Smoked wings are fabulous. Lucky Dog Grille is my favorite local restaurant, and we eat here at least monthly or more often. They recently added smoked chicken wings. My group was allowed to ‘preview’ these wings before they were added to the menu, and they are fantastic! Check out the nice selection of beers on tap, the grilled (not fried) chicken wings, the cheese steak sandwiches, and the new beer cheese dip.
