Great food and great service. My husband and I eat there several times a week. We feel like part of the family. My favorites are the greek salad with Gyro meat, the ribs on Friday night and breakfast anytime. Billy, Lisa, Natalie and the entire staff are just delightful people. They really want you to be satisfied. They also run a pizza joint in Blanchester. Best pizza I have ever tasted. We love eating at the Mason Grill. Just feels like home.
Seems to be good… avoid the cincinnati style chili. I’ve eaten here exactly twice. Once with a business networking group years ago, and recently by myself.People seem to like their breakfasts and sandwiches. The server I had was extremely nice. Everything, silverware included, spotless.The Cincinnati style chili, though, was lousy. I had a four way. The problem is in the presentation, and the way the bowl of chili is put together. The spices and seasonings are OK. The meat sauce is EXTREMELY watery – I had a bowl of water after finishing. They also serve 1/2 the shredded cheese on top that Skyline or every other chili restaurant (Blue Ash Chili) does. There isn’t enough heat in the served sauce+spaghetti to melt any of the cheese, so you have lukewarm sauce+spaghetti topped with cold cheese. The onions aren’t diced finely enough. I dumped a packet of oyster crackers into the bowl just to soak up the water (I NEVER do that anyplace else) and it makes little difference.
The Mason Grill, is a wonderful family restaurant. I’ve been eating here, since visits as a kid with relatives for the summer.The gyros are Amazing. They are the REAL deal. The burgers are to die for delicious, the double decker sandwiches are incredible, my kids tell me that the pancakes and breakfast food are very yummy. It’s their normThe service is great! This family cares about how their customers feel and whether or not, you make a return visit.If you’re in Mason or visiting, The Grill is a place you should visit. You won’t regret it.
Ate breakfast there. I love these little independently owned diners for breakfast. Had a goetta and cheese omelette. It came with loads of real hash brown potatoes and toast. It was excellent!
Gryos were good. I don’t think the meat was fresh off the spool but it was still good. I got a cheese coney to try also and the chili was cold…. I.don’t know if that’s how they are served but I don’t think I’ll be getting another on. The gryo was warm and my friends 3 way was also warm which is why I was thinking that’s just how they served them. Service was good and friendly. I will give them another try with the family in tow.
Greek Salad w Gyro Meat!. This is a regular carry out order for me, and I have never been disappointed. Fresh crisp greens, enough green peppers, onions, kalamata olives and feta to make it yummy w/o overdosing and flavorful gyro meat.Thanks for being a great little restaurant!
