We went to Persis this weekend to try out their Lunch Buffet. I must admit I was pretty impressed by the ambience and the decor which is very chic and contemporary compared to most of the other Indian restuarants in the area. Their buffet has a good variety of both Vegetarian and Non Vegetarian dishes and the menu is mostly South Indian. The food was delicious and tasted fresh! I did not however, like the golgappas. The water was a little too plain for my taste bud and lacked the sourness. I had also tried their samosa once earlier and it was good too. They serve it with the green mint chutney and the red one too. It was $6 for three small sized samosas. The desserts were amazing! Loved loved loved the Shahi Tukda and the fruit custard. Their buffet is little too expensive in comparison to their competitors but the food was worth the money.Definitely coming back.
