Surprised!. Hadn’t been here since the place opened, came to meet friends, reviews are mixed so I didn’t have a high expectation. Turned out to be much better than people say. Friendly staff, crazy amount of beer to choose from and some really good food too, try the grown up mac n cheese!
Good stuff
Yum. Food was so amazing! Great place to watch a game!
This bar needs one of those hidden camera shows to set up shop. I refuse to believe the owner is aware of what is happening in his bar. I’ve been here a handful of times as I live close and love a great tap selection, but the fact this place boasts, without a doubt, the most unprofessional staff I have ever seen means I’ll likely have to find someplace else. Only one bartender seems to realize he’s even at work, the rest behave as if it’s a party and the customers are an inconvenience even to the point of bragging about how they’re still intoxicated. They’re profane, inattentive, and generally lazy. Food used to be good, but the menu has changed so that’s it’s just so-so (not to worry, the bartender will never get around to taking your order anyway.) I actually asked of there was even a manager around one evening and I was directed to a woman who was sitting at the bar, surrounded by servers (who were not tending to customers) and laughing hysterically at her phone. This went on the entire time we were there. Honestly, if someone doesn’t take charge of this circus I see it closing down soon.
Best place for a game!. I visited Thirsty’s this weekend with friends to watch all the great sporting events that were going on. The place was packed but, with two bars and tons of table seating surrounded by about 60 plus TV’s, finding a great seat wasn’t an issue. The service was good, everyone friendly and seemed to be having fun even while working. The food came quickly and was of appropriate portions. The pretzel appetizer is AMAZING and cheap too, five bux! Although, they had a few glitches while changing from UC to Bucks to Reds, they worked it out quickly and all in all Thirsty’s made for a great night.
Recently went to thirstys on a friends suggestion to watch the uc and osu game and will definitely be back! Bartenders had great beer knowledge and the sirloin special they had going on was fantastic. Only complaint i have is that theres no bells tap, if 2 hearted was on tap!! But that wont stop me from going back. Really cool bar that id suggest checking out
We went there for lunch with a few co-workers. The food was typical bar food but it was done well. Boneless wings and tenders were meaty and juicy. The pot roast sandwich was a little on the dry side and the BBQ was a little too runny. I was told by my coworker the BBQ slaw was good along with the onion rings. Overall, I would go back. The music was good and service was nice. Just stick with the standard bar fare.
