Landmark in Mason. So let me just say, that if you live in the downtown mason area, or mason itself, Whippy Dip is the Holy Landmark of softserve ice cream! I’ve been eating whippy dip ever since I moved to mason, which was 18 years ago. Not only was it a tradition to come and get my classic favorite, vanilla and chocolate twist with rainbow sprinkles and a face, in a cup after ever softball, soccer, or lacrosse practice, but once or twice a week every summer. I’m a 18 year old soon to be college freshman, and I’ll continue to eat here until the day it closes down ( which I pray it never does ) I’ve eaten at The cone, graters, UDF, coldstone, and many others, but whippy dip for me doesn’t compare. This is tradition. my childhood, and so much more. There are a ton of memories here. It’s simply the best! I love my Tucker’s Whippy Dip! and am currently enjoying myself my second favorite of their’s, a blue raspberry glacier ! (:

Not what i like. Didn’t have any taste at all. the kids like it b/c you have to put sprinkles or something on your ice cream. THE cone is much better.
Cute!. This is just a quaint little ice cream shop with all the basics. It’s CASH only, so make sure you’re prepared! I got the cookie dough swirly, and other people got a soft serve. They have some good old fashion treats, like a chocolate soda. The best part: very inexpensive! Better than the expensive places like Graeters. I still like UDF out of all the ice cream places in Mason.
