Loved it!. Was looking for somet where new for my fianc to go and dgag was perfect! Great atmosphere, awesome food, great band, and excellent service! Also had the pumpkin pie-tini.. Delicious! We had a great time!
Bad anniversary dinner. Picked dgag jazz as apparent upscale restaurant for 46th wedding anniversary dinner. Unfortunately the excellent waiter was the only good part of the dining experience. The ambiance was only so so. I order the sidecar on the drink menu. This was my favorite drink and quite popular and trendy 40 years ago. The preparation in a martini glass without using superfine sugar in the drink and on the rim was different but adequate. We ordered the large aged filet mignonette medium rare with a lobster tail on the side. The lobster tail arrived undercooked and without melted butter. Butter was provided upon request, however neither the lobster nor the butter was even warm. Eating cool undercooked lobster is not pleasant. The filet mignon was not just pink in the center but raw and the entire steak was cool. Steak that isn’t warm and crispy on the outside is unpleasant. Needless to say we will not be returning to the dgag cafe.
Bourbon salmon very good. Ribs not so much. Service from reception to wait staff act like you are not a priority.
Not impressed. We went in with high hopes after viewing their menu online and reading the descriptions of their food. The waitress was not clued into the menu at all and the food was very bland and not at all liked i expected. We were placed into a small side room with a wobbly table, and kind of forgotten about. When we finished we went to the overcrowded bar where our waitress was serving as well. We had a few sangrias which i’m not sure had much if any alcohol in them. We will not be returning.
Great Food, Vegan & Vegetarian Options. We visited Degage for the first time and were impressed at the decor, the live music, and the menu which included a number of delicious gluten-free, vegan and/or vegetarian items. The omnivores (those who eat both vegetables and flesh) were very happy with their fish/poultry/meat dishes also. Note that it is closed on Sunday and Monday. The cafe also has a lunch menu from 11am-3pm but we did not get the opportunity to try it.
Easter Brunch or Hospital Cafeteria???. Easter Brunch was supposed to be special. NOT!!! Our RESERVED table was in the serving room. The so-called buffet was worse than a hospital cafeteria. The prime rib was RAW. Not undercooked… RAW. The $23.95 so-called buffet was a sloppy mess. Disgusting!!!! And to top it off, no response from the restaurant after PRIVATELY messaging them on FB.
