Stayed at this hotel. Had dinner at the bar. The bar tender, Karen, was wonderful! Very nice and thoughtful. Food was ok. Nothing special but fine considering that I was tired and didn’t want to drive somewhere to eat. Ordered a garden salad, which proved to be weird… was served as a wedge with olives, diced tomatoes and diced eggs with a balsamic. Ordered the Chicken Penne, which was what I expected. Garlic bread was yummy! I wanted to eat the entire loaf! Not a bad experience but if you feel like going out then there are probably better options.

Don’t expect to receive Over Priced Hotel Food Here! An independently owned Bar & Restaurant brings a good feeling, great menu & family service to the Holiday Inn Maumee which serves Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner. I’m not one for mornings so I haven’t made it to breakfast but lunch and dinner were fantastic! Hotel customers as well as locals keep the Bar here pretty entertaining all week long! If you are traveling through or live close ya gotta check it out!
