Say no, stay away. This place is bad and consistently get’s written up by food inspectors, actually they had to shut down their kitchen for a couple days in the past 2 months because of issues. Not very good b-b-q (you are better off at Shorty’s, Deets, or City Q) and there were no redeeming qualities for this restaurant. Honestly, about the only reason they survive is the large hotel traffic they have from being located in a prime spot on dussel.
Out Standing in many ways. The food is great. I love the pulled pork straight up. (no sauce)The kettle chips are awesome. (battered and fried)The beans have a sweetness and a tang at the same time.The service… sometime service stands out.. Emma is one of those. She was attentive to every need. With good food and servers like Emma, I will come back, or eat at some of their other locations.
Quite honestly I feel that the true flavor as well as feeling of BBQ is replaced by the franchise attitude. And this shows in the food. Comparable to a Jeds or bdubs.

Nations best BBQ chain I say. Folks I got to say the best BBQ chain in the USA. I’ve eaten at a dozen plus of the locations and the baby back smoked ribs are the exact same with a beautiful smoke ring cooked to perfection each and ever time. I’m so sorry the chain only has 2 location in Michigan and I have to drive to the buckeye state all being worth the trip. If Slows is a favorite of yours a trip down I-75 is a must to try a chain that’s worthy of the best in the USA. albeerpoe.blogspot.com
Superb BBQ cuisine. We had the ribs, steak, and wings. Everything was fantastic and succulent. My father in law told me to use the word orgasmic so there you go. I’d put this place well above Applebees and the like.
