Great food, and awesome customer service. I am on an extremely restrictive diet due to health reasons. The staff was more than helpful and cooking me something special that was not on the menu that met my dietary restrictions. Not only did they go above and beyond the call with regard to my diet concerns, the food still tasted fantastic. A+ all the way.01 May, 2010This place is great! The relaxed atmosphere is perfect for a date night or a group of friends. The homemade sausage is fantastic and believe me I know sausage. The cheesecake is a winner as well as the terisamu (never said I could spell). You should totally check this joint out.
Almost perfect…… Except for the calzones, which were more bread than anything else. The cheese was mostly in the center and one big lump……I am not hard to please but this calzone is not worth the price (even with the good salad beforehand). That said, our party of 7 on a busy Sat evening was quite pleased. Super tasting dishes included the Pesto Pasta, Eggplant Parm and Cavatelli with meat sauce. As good as the food is, the desert is really the star of the show. This is one of those rare places where the deserts are actually even better tasting than they look……even when you are not that hungry. The 4layer chocolate cake was good, the Tiramisu better, and the cannoli the absolute best anywhere!(See my May 2012 review also).07 May, 2012The Old Spaghetti Company Reinvented. Years ago The Spaghetti Company thrived on the corner of SOM & Wilson Mills. Great food, ambience and the chance to sit ‘inside a wood barrel’ while in a booth were all part of the charm. Time moved on and so did The Spaghetti Company….over to Alfredos. Dont judge this place because it is the house restaurant at the Holiday Inn. Rather, go and enjoy (and sit in a barrel if you want a very private setting). Good food and good service make for a real winner. Menu items have been expanded beyond Italian. Recently we had a 1/2 chicken dish with garlic mashed potatoes and salad that were excellent. Dittos for eggplant and turkey meatball pasta. The Italian wedding soup is homemade and excellent. The premeal bread is warm and tasty, and service is polished. No reservations necessary, as this place is also large. Try Alfredos and tell them you want to sit in a barrel…you will be glad you did!
I liked it. We had a great server and the food was flavorful. It was real Italian food and not just Sysco out of a jar! It was better than expected for a restaurant in a hotel.
Alfredo’s-Highland Heights. Had wonderful, delicious dinners there tonight. Welcoming and helpful service there by waiter Anthony was impeccable. Will definitely return. Thank you!
Great restaurant. We hate there last night and had a really nice time with our friends. Everyone enjoyed our table and our server. The food was really great and we enjoyed not having to drive downtown for something good. Will be back soon!
