Easily best breakfast in town – Blows the place next door (Eli’s) away. Great food. Decor needs work. Service good. Nice open kitchen is clean (Again – not like Eli’s). We did have to walk through a crowd of smokers outside but they were from Eli’s to get in. Can’t stand that.
LOVE Marie’s Cafe!! They have some amazing hummus and their chicken shawarma salad and grilled cheese is unbeatable. The BLT and monte cristo sammies are also phenom. When I’m in the mood for soup the loaded baked potato is just amazing. All of the food is homemade and not microwaved.Normally we get it for lunch since we work at the square and they’re not open late which is a bummer since I can never get my friends to go since we all work during the day. I wish they were open later into the evening. There have been times when the chef isn’t in the kitchen (days off I’m guessing) and certain menu items are unavailable. I’ve never heard of a place doing this and it’s pretty annoying when you try to order a monte cristo and apparently only one person is trained to make those.Otherwise this is a great place to go for Mediterranean inspired food!!
