We tried this place recently and it was decent. Decent atmosphere with the neat mural on the wall. The bread really needs an upgrade for an Italian place. It was basically a sliced Italian bread from a grocery store more or less. The salad was good but way too much dressing put on. The balsamic is good. They should put the dressing on the side to allow customers to add what they want. The lasagna was pretty decent. More of a savory sauce than sweet. If you have heartburn issues…don’t get it. Wife liked her ravioli. Will go back for a second try.
We were seated in a banquet area right next to a table being used to sort the place settings. The room was freezing and nearly empty. The waitresses were ok but the food was awful. My wife got Alfredo that had a yellowish look and it tasted likeMac & cheese. When we told the waitress she said it was the lighting. The host just said Ok..like she did not care at all and that was my main feeling about this place. They just don’t care. We won’t be back.
Great food and service!. My family made a reservation for dinner at Santo Suosso’s this past Sunday evening, and we asked if there was a quiet area in the restaurant because a relative was visiting from Colorado and some old friends were in town from Wisconsin, and we all wanted to be able to hear each other. We were hoping for a table in a relatively quiet corner. Instead, we were offered our own separate room, and we weren’t even charged extra. It was so nice to be able to carry on a conversation with the seven people at our table without having a lot of background noise. Not only did we enjoy that, but our waitress was exceptional–very efficient, personable, and accommodating without being intrusive. The food was incredibly delicious as well. It was such a pleasant experience that we’ll definitely dine at Santo Suosso’s again soon!
George, and the staff at Santo Suisso’s ,Thank you. !!! We had a bithday party of 24 and we had the best time in the banquet room !!! Best service and food !!!!!!! Cannot wait to go back ….
Great restaurant, absolute best around hands down, always fresh ingredients, can’t go Erin with carry out pizza!
Wonderful restaurant. I have read the reviews and I am asking myself are they talking about Santo’s in Medina? The waitress would have had to have been 6 feet tall in order to lean over the bar and put any body parts in a husband’s face. The bartenders are always so polite and provide great service. As a single person, I am very comfortable going there by myself for dinner. The pasta is amazing, the salad always fresh with a wonderful selection of good dressings. (I am a salad dressing snob). The pizza is delicious and toppings always fresh. I do agree with the one review which indicated the bread – I agree, this item needs some work. A wonderful restaurant, try for yourself.
Best Italian in the area!. I have been here many times and have never been disappointed with the food. Some of my favorites- Eggplant Parm, Rigatoni with Vodka sauce, the porkchop is wonderful as well, and they serve the best salmon I have ever had! They are a bit pricey, which keeps me from having dinner there every single day, but I always have leftovers since the portions are quite large!
