Rude Owners and Cafeteria-esque Atmosphere. I honestly don’t know why anyone would choose to eat here. From my experiences the owners are incredibly rude, the food consists of poor quality ingredients slapped onto an oversized plate, and the dining room is akin to a nursing home cafeteria. I suppose if you must eat here, at least order carry out. Will never eat here again especially when there are several much better Italian places in Mentor.
Amazing! Huge portions and great prices. Best cannolis in the Midwest. Fresh bread with every entree.
Our second visit in 3 months Tried the cheese ravioli 1st time, egg plant parm this visit. Not impressed with either meal Bland and nondescript. The sauce was like it was crushed tomatoes out of a can It was a $9.99 dish not $13.99 Seated at a table with 4 people that was really a table for 2 Polite server. Not pushed to leave when we sat after eating but the rush was over Won’t be going there again
Some of the best food around for the price. Staff and owners were very friendly. Everyone should try this place. It’s amazing!
Wouldn’t return. Large pizza was very small, and the spaghetti and meatballs only had 2 meatballs, while the meat was good the pasta itself and pizza were grade school cafeteria quality. I’m an Italian New Yorker, and this was a huge let down.
Eat here! We decided to get take out tonight and were craving Italian. I got Chicken Parmesan and love it. The mozzarella balls were fantastic. My boyfriend got the pasta carbonara and it is delicious too. There is so much food, my dish alone could last three meals. We picked up after the restaurant had closed and the owner was friendly and gracious. He chatted with us, made us feel like we were back home in the kitchen talking with a family friend. Worth the money, great food, great service. Whether its for carry out, or to dine in Mama Roberto’s is a great restaurant that I would recommend to all!
