Too expensive for a deli. In my opinion it wasn’t the greatest. I ordered a salad with grilled chicken and hummus. It cost 12 bucks. The salad was lacking variety and was overpriced. Maybe a sandwich would be a better option next time if I come back.
Good food, ok service. The food was really good with a reasonable price. Although we had some blonde waitress who seemed to need an attitude check, I’m sorry we needed to know if something was cooked with any seafood in it since I am allergic. Other than our rude waitress our trip there was well worth it.
Good Food – Great Soups. Just a bit pricey for a mom-n-pop deli but not outrageous … good food, nothing fancy except the desserts which are scrumptous but pricey for portion size. Many good soup dejour options … Love their special Friday Clam Chowder and free deli pickles! Corned beef sandwiches are good but don’t measure up to the huge and famous offerings at Slymans. Wife loves the Turkey Ruben on a pretzel roll. Line is out the door on St Pats!!!
Casual, a Good Lunch Spot. A very casual, local atmosphere. Nothing fancy, but everyone is very friendly. The prices are also fairly inexpensive.The deli uses Boarshead meats, which are my favorite cold cuts. The food isn’t fancy, it is home-style. It’s also very good, in a midwest kind of way.A great place to check out for lunch or to pick up cakes, pies, or deli meats and cheeses.
