Best sushi I’ve had. Quaint, quiet, clean place and friendly staff. Love it.
Meh. I’m pretty spoiled since I live near Kasai Japanese in Wadsworth where they fly fish in from Japan overnight twice a week…..so I’ve become a bit of a sushi snob. I got the tuna donburi and I was completely disappointed by not only the size of the portion for the money, but also the quality of the fish. One of the keys to good donburi, or any sushi is the rice, but instead of using sushi rice (vinegar, sugar and sesame oil) they served it on plain rice. After scoping this place out and building up excitation I was very disappointed. My friend got some hibachi which she said was good. I’d be willing to give the place another try…just not for sushi.
Poor. Server was decent. Service was horible. Ordered sushimi they brought it on rice. The server took it back, they took it right off the rice and flopped it back on to my plate. Sent it back again, saying that was un exceptable . They took the same 6 pieces rolled them into a flower shape so now i have 3 pieces, server refused to bring it back do to embarassment, so one of the owners brought it over and told me this is how sushimi is serverd. Payed for my drinks and left.Horrible
Somewhat typical small Japanese setting…food is wonderful and wait staff is pretty friendly…some wait for the sushi but it was well worth it! Easily the best Japanese in the area
Good Food!. The sushi is really rather good, well prepared, fresh and tasteful. Their green tea ice cream is the best I’ve ever had. In looking for bad things about the place I did find that the decor is a little tacky, but not too distracting. The service is a little distant. Overall, the sushi tastes great and the portions are fair. Check the place out.
