Great Coffee, not so great employees…. I absolutely love the coffee that is served here. The atmosphere is very serene and I feel I can get a lot of work done without being bothered. The only complaint I have is that the staff…one in particular, are quite rude. The mid-aged bald gentlemen is arrogant and awful to communicate with. He makes you feel like you are a chore to him. I have considered reaching out to management just because of the two horrible interactions I’ve had with this man. There is another employee who is exceptionally kind and he is the only reason I have not quit going here altogether – gentleman with the thick black glasses is a gem! I will continue to go here and hopefully they are able to change the bald guys sour attitude. Cheers!

Very amazing tea!. I never had the coffee from here, but I have had the tea. I’m not even a tea drinker but coming here had changed my view. everyone was very nice and the tea is oh so good. They gave really good quiche as well. I hear the chicken salad is amazing too.

Please try to brew a better coffee!. I like the fact that it is a uniquely looking, individually owned coffee shop. But that is pretty much it. I have gotten better tasting coffees at gas stations! Seriously. The house coffee (which I always order because all other specialty drinks are way too expensive) is brewed very thin and just doesn’t taste good. Lot’s of half&half and sugar needed to make it more potable. Also, if you are hungry for cake or pastries, you better bring a fat wallet, the prices are steep. Nevertheless, I still go there to meet friends and to hang out. I just don’t go there in the hope for a tasty coffee.

This coffee is bad. Has kind of a chicoree taste and is pretty weak. It doesn’t help their case having pretentious workers. I’m very sorry I bothered you today. Won’t be visiting again. Too bad because it’s a cool location.

I’ve been here quite a few times to work on homework and i’ve even had a job interview here. I like to come in, get a french press, and relax by myself or with a couple of friends. But there are a few things that really bother me about this place. Any beverage other than just plain, regular coffee, is honestly no good. I’ve tried lattes, hot chocolate, etc. And something about them just really never tasted right. Also, the employees (one specifically), are very rude and make it seem like you’re really ruining their day by ordering something.

December 2010. I went for my usual cup of coffee that I get when I travel to Highland Square. On this visit, I decided that I wanted to drink the coffee with a sandwich from Aladin’s eater. I asked the clerk if I was able to purchase coffee and a desert from him and be able to eat my lunch there. I asked him because I felt that would be the proper behavior. The clerk explained that if I bring in food from somewhere else, I would be asked to leave. While I understand that this may very well be their policy, I will never understand the rude, smug attitude that came across as though he enjoyed this moment of power. As a result of this treatment, I will never go back to Angel Falls nor will my friends. There are so many other coffee places to patronize; I will go where the establishment appreciates my business.

Home Away from Home. A homey and welcoming coffee shop in a truly unique, historic and artsy neighborhood. Lots of local flavor and fun!
