I had been wanting to try this place for awhile. Stopped in for my first visit and ordered a Strawberry milkshake to-go.I was extremely disappointed. It just wasn’t good. The ice cream tasted cheap and almost a little freezer-burned.At first I worried that there was no way the tiny straw would suck up a delicious $5.25 milkshake. But I soon found out that there was not a single strawberry in the milkshake; they use a fakey-tasting strawberry syrup.Maybe other things are better? I do not plan to find out after throwing away $3-worth of a bad milkshake.

Good food horible service. Great pasta dishes with tasty homemade sauces. The icecream is on the icy side and not so creamy(icemilk?) So if that’s your thing dig in! Broad selection of original sundaes loaded with toppings and served in classic glass dishes. The diningroom is nostalgic with collectibles on the walls and retro decor. The service is marginal at best and painful at it’s worst. The owner is ever present glaring through the kitchen service window creating an odd feeling in the diningroom. I refuse to go there anymore because of this. Enjoy!

Step back in time. My wife and I ate here with another couple on a Saturday night. I loved the original Trecaso’s as a U of A student. They’ve brought back the pizza and have a wonderful red sauce for the pasta. We stayed away from the ice cream and had homemade chocolates instead. Uncomplicated, stick to excellent basics food in a time machine setting. I’d take this over Luigi’s every time.
