Cheap does not mean good. Akron, CHEAP is not the first thing to look for in a place to eat. This place is the epitome of average at best. Average menu and average service and average taste. It is the most average Chinese place ever. AND EGG ROLL WRAPPERS ARE NOT MOOSHOO PANCAKES!!!!!!!! EVER!!!!!! Driving down the road to Chins.

What happened?. Sadly, the quality has really gone down hill. My problem with most chinese take out in akron is that they serve you chicken jerky and call it food. This restaurant used to be an exception, but within the last 6mnths they have quit serving juicy chicken. It used to be that general taos chicken was big chunks of fresh chicken. Now as I said you get chicken jerky and sauce. What a shame. I recommend you boycott these places and hopefully they will catch on. Unfortunately people still buy the food thus creating a market for these places.
Just awful. Terrible service. My order took 15 minutes for the woman answering the phone to take. This is probably because she barely spoke english. When she finally got my address, phone number, order and credit card number she said it would be about 45 minutes. An hour and a half later the delivery guy showed up asking me for cash. After telling him I was paying for my order by credit card, he told me you have to give the card number over the phone. After 5 minutes of going back and fourth this way, he told me he couldn’t give me my food. I’m never ordering from this place again.
What happened 2 old platinum dragon??. I moved away about 5 years ago and just moved back 2 akron last winter….platinum dragon is def. not the same i wanna know what happened 2 my fav chinese spot….totally sucks now..refuse 2 return
