Eat at Eadie’s. I was told when I moved here in ’96 that this was THE place to get fish. And in the 90’s it may have been but not as of late. It’s unfortunate that most of the staff was born in the 90’s and couldn’t give a good G** D*** about service. The fried food is greasy, tasteless and leaves a puddle in the basket. And unless you’re a good looking, age appropriate man that looks like you’ve either got money or time to waste on the servers…you ain’t gittin’ s***.
Wow…what happened???. I used to eat at Tim’s frequently, but over the past year or two, the quality has headed south fast. Too often recently, I’ve had cold fish and way too greasy fish and the quality is just not there for the price. Sorry, I just can’t recommend the place anymore.
Tim’s Tavern. I used to like coming here. However, the last two times I visited I was let down by the quality of the food. This used to be my go-to place for fish but no more.
Good fried fish. Good value.. I think that says it all!
Bad service, expensive for the quality of the food. We went with another couple and asked for two seperate checks. The waitress brought back are bill with all our drinks on one bill and all are entrees on another and tolds us we would have to figure out our own bill be cause she could not fix it.When we asked her to figure out she refused again,so we ask for a manger they did not even come to the table either. Our waitress start crying and then recaculated are bills then after we paid the bill a total of 130.00 for four .the bartendar and lady behind the bar told us to get the f out and never come back in front about 30 customer staring at us.I have never been so embarassed in my life.I have got better service at fast food restraunts.
Bad service, bad food. This used to be the place for fish. It is now terrible at best. The service is non-existent at best. All you can eat hush puppies means 4, as you cant get a server to wait on you. As a matter of fact, she appeared bored or stoned. The fish was of McDonalds like quality. Greasy and not any taste at all. Long Johns has better fish than this and better prices too. Stay away.
Get your fried fish here!. As a lover of seafood, any place that advertises fried fish as their specialty is on my list of places to go to, and I’ve never been disappointed with the fried fish at Tim’s. Always light and crunchy on the outside, tender and flaky on the inside, Tim’s fried fish is the best in Canton, period. Tim’s also serves broiled fish, but it is served swimming in butter and is far greasier than the fried version. The rest of the menu at Tim’s is adequate, but the fried fish is the signature dish and is by far the best thing on the menu. Off the beaten path, between the Belden Village area and downtown Canton, near Meyers Lake, Tim’s is an affordable restaurant with a full service bar on one side and a family-style restaurant on the other. If you love fried fish, you MUST go to Tim’s.
