Working close to downtown Miamisburg there are not a lot of choices especially since Giuliano closed which the best for downtown, Bullwinkle’s has always been hit or miss, one day you tell everyone about the BBQ or the Wings and the next its the worst ever, if they could get the food and service at a consistent level they would keep and win more customer.I will be back.
Need to be a speed diner!. We took coworkers from out of town to dinner. We ordered drinks, appetizers and entrees. After 2 hours we were approached by a manager and told there was a 2 hour limit at a table. With 2/3s of a drink left a remaining food in Togo boxes we left. It would not be so hard to accept had there not been empty tables available the same size we were at.
Better prepared. The past four times we had dinner . …they didn’t have any bread until after we were almost finished with our meal ……..they should be prepared better …
Poor service and way below expectations. Slow, slow and slow service. Went for the all-you-can eat ribs this evening. We were seated pretty quickly! Waited nearly 15 minutes for a waitress to attend to us. I received a half-slab of ribs to begin with. Never saw the waitress again until we flagged her down! Never received any additional ribs only excuses! Table next to us received additional ribs twice while we were eating. Manager came by to apologize while we were about to depart. He compt us for two sodas for our difficulties. The check was nearly $30 and for what????? Stay away! What a ripoff!
My husband and I have gone to bullwinkles since the early 90’s, we love the ribs, the Q sauce and the potato soup. But the last few times, the restaurant has been very dirty. There’s been floaties in the water and the tables have a sticky grime on them. This last time I asked for plastic ware because the silver ware had crusty food on it! The management ( actually ownership) needs to critically evaluate the day to day operations and do a little cleaning. Unfortunately I won’t be back for a long while:/
They’re back!!!. Bullwinkles definitely serves up decent food – restaurant caliber food, not your typical bar food. The ribs, pulled pork and burgers are their forte, but many other menu choices hit the spot as well . The bar and restaurant can get very crowded, and requires a little patience. Bullwinkles was unbeatable 20 years ago and when they went through changes in management, the quality and popularity waned. It seems to be holding it’s own again, and that’s good to see and hear. We have recently made a few trips back because of the recent rave reviews. I’ve been very impressed every visit, and am happy to report that Bullwinkles is back, and climbing the ladder to the top again.
