Well, looking for a good lunch here, but disappointed, servers, managers and help everywhere but what does it take to get a table and get the drink and order in? Tex/Mex? food is good at best, everything from service to food needs attention.
This place is perfect for a happy hour or lunch date. As for dinner, the food is over priced and the chips are absolutely horrible. They are almost transparent. The dips are good but food is mediocre at best
Food quality very poor. Very disappointed best thing I had was French fries Decor doesn’t say Mexican. Food is something I received in school. No flavor
A little confused. They call themselves Tex Mex, but the place has a tropical diner like feel, with palm trees, neon and bright colors. The menu, though, is Tex Mex, and while the area in the middle where you can watch tortillas being made hints to authenticity, the menu itself is a tad sparse compared to the Americanized Mexican places in the area, not to mention more expensive. Service is a little lacking. Maybe they were overstaffed, as there were quite a few people just standing around in the dining area. Two were having a conversation at the hostess area as I entered, which made them stop their conversation for a few seconds to stare at me, then they shuffled off to another part of the restaurant to continue talking. A little disconcerting. They haven’t ben open at this location long, so growing pains can be expected. But nothing about my experience was impressive, what they do is done better and cheaper at a few other places at this time.
Terrible!!.. Ate here today… Flies galore…food all over the floors… Will never go back. Food was adequate tasting.. Nothing special… But flies and dirty floors… Sorry, rather have a descent meal somewhere else….. Very, very disappointed.
Good was really fresh and excellent. Server was incredibly friendly and his food recommendations were spot on. Will definitely be back again.
Very disappointing. Twice the price of every other Mexican establishment in the area and the food was awful. We had heard good things and there was often a two hour wait for a table. We slipped in late on a Sunday and got seated quickly, then waited over 30 minutes for a server to even stop at our table. Dozens of servers passed us by and looked at us, but none even asked if we wanted anything. Finally a manager asked if we had been served, we replied no and received service, but it only resulted in the worst Mexican food I’ve had since moving to Dayton. Skip this over rated tourist trap style place at all costs. Choose any of the 20 other Mexican places within a stones through of here.
