Best pizza in town. A Miamisburg tradition. Great pizzas and the mushroom steak sub is favorite. The patio is the bomb. Owner is very involved in local school fundraising activities and is always willing to help out.
Miamisburg’s best pizza. Dine in, carry out, or call for delivery – Ron’s does it all consistently well. But, you don’t have to believe me, Ron’s is an award winning pizza and sandwich shop many times over the years. The Mushroom Steak Sandwich (whole or half) is one rockin’ sandwich (extra banana peppers please), and the thin, lightly salted crust pizza is fantastic. The Deluxe is a good choice for a pizza, but we often order a bacon pizza (not Canadian bacon), and it is pretty damn amazing. Ron’s Pizza has been a family-owned Miamisburg favorite for decades. These folks not only serve up decent food and spirits, but they also give back to the community in spades!
I enjoyed pizza here. They have a ba so you can get some drinks. Parking is not too easy on weekends but otherwise I enjoyed my visit.
Dayton Pizza As It Was Meant to Be. In my opinion, Ron’s creates the most succulent rendition of Dayton style pizza (very thin crust, cut into squares) of any of the several local chains that specialize in the stuff. According to the text on their menu, Ron’s was originally a Cassano’s franchisee in the early 1960s that broke away in pursuit of better ingredients. Besides pizza, almost everything we have tried here is consistently excellent: burgers, the roast beef sandwich, jalapeno poppers, etc. Service is friendly and responsive and is usually fairly quick. The tavern part of the establishment is the most comfortable and atmospheric way to eat here. Highly recommended.
Great pizza & subs. A great Mimisburg tradition. You gotta try it.
Good Dayton style pizza. Thin crust, square slices, tangy sauce – overall a pretty decent pizza. I grew up eating Ron’s regularly and always enjoyed it. It still sizes up as a fairly good pizza, but nothing I would hop towns for.
Small town pizza parlor with tavern. 3 stars – walk into the carryout area then arrive at the main dining room, wooden tables & chairs, the next room over is the tavern with a bar and about 6 booths with high backs that allow for some sense of privacy. Was only one waitress working on a weeknight and the dining room was full. Had to wait for a table to be bussed to sit down, but we did not come in a big rush, worried about being late for someplace else, so no worries.Dined with some regulars who said the service was very unusually slow that night — and it was slow, but no issue as I was out to socialize.Taco salad was reported to be good, as was the Italian sandwich. Both looked appealing. I had the pizza bread, which I expected to be more like thick garlic bread with pizza toppings on it. It was instead a thinner bread – more like a pizza crust but not quite. Was busy talking so did not investigate too much. Liked the bread very much, whatever it was. Toppings were good (sausage, pepperoni) except the canned mushrooms. Canned mushrooms are nasty. Fresh are cheap and easy to come by and prepare. Lost half star for crapping out on the mushrooms. Good amount of cheese on it, not so much to make you ill, but plenty enough to be just stringy and gooey goodness.Waitress was adequate, not overly friendly but seemed way overworked so I cut her a break, not an easy job. She kept our glasses filled and actually asked if we wanted refills instead of just pouring it. Sometimes I need help saying no to too much soda pop…
