Best in Monroe. Most recent restaurant reincarnation in this location. Hope they make a good run of it! My son and I had great burgers, I had a couple of great craft drafts. Crispy waffle fries, not the saggy, mealy, undercooked ones you get most places. The employees and owner were all quite friendly and attentive.

Great place!!!. I have been anticipating the opening of this place which is located in the building that used to be the Red Onion. I am such a sucker for locally owned restaurants. I was greeted nicely as I entered and offered my choice of seats. I then learned I was their first customer on their first real day of being open to the public. Therefore I decided I would write this review. I don’t know any of them so I am not just one of their friends writing to get people in there, just FYI.It was a tough decision between the Ahi tuna salad and the Social burger. Ended up with the namesake burger and it did not disappoint. I was not prepared for the size of this thing, but was delighted that it was not over-the-top gargantuan. Perfect size for a hungry man. The whole burger was of true quality and tasted great. Usually burgers of this size tend make the bun soggy and become obliterated as you eat it. The bun on this thing was chosen wisely. It held together till the end and had a great taste all on it’s own. It has smoked brisket which adds a very nice smoke flavor to the whole thing. Very nice! It could have used a bit more of the Jamaican sauce on it, but that is only observation, not a complaint. My side was the herb butter waffle fries. Hands down the best I’ve ever had as far as waffle fries go. Normally to me waffle fries are big, thick, gluggy and mealy. These, on the other hand, were smaller, thinner and stayed delightfully crispy through my meal. The herb butter added an amazing extra flavor making them adult enjoyable, yet without being all greasy as one might imagine. There was plenty of selection on the menu to satisfy the majority of the population. I was pleased to see that they offer not only an amazing selection of craft beer, but also a small menu of what appeared to be craft cocktails as well. Something I would have done if the place were mine. The place was clean and well decorated…a pleasant place to eat, drink and be merry.I will most definitely be returning to try some of their other culinary delights.
