Consistent ExcellenceAfter eating at an original pancake house in Illinois we rerouted our trip to come here. We weren’t disappointed. They consistently have the best blueberry pancakes in the country. We also tried the strawberry blitz crapes and the Nutella crapes and they were excellent. If I am in the area or even close to an area with an original pancake house we are stopping.
Service. The wait is terrible. 25 people waiting for a table while 2 booths are open. Young girl working in front trying to manage the crowd is more focused on her phone. Get better management
No idea why people like this place.. First time there. Horrible experience as a whole. I ordered pancakes, an omlet, toast and home fries. I only ever got the omlet and homefries. The omlets are ovbiously made in some kind of machine. They are round and look like a cow pattie (taste like it also). The omlet didn’t even have the ingredients I ordered. The home fries were OK. Can’t speak for the pancakes becaue I never got them. Although, I did pay for them. It took forever to get food and the lady at the front desk ovbiously was not too thrilled about her cashier job and was not in a hurry to do anything and didn’t even talk loud enough for anyone to hear her (i’m 21 years old my hearing is great). The place was packed for some unknown reason… It was definatly not because of their omlets that arent even yellow… they are brown and literally are big and round and look like a cow pattie. I thought it was my pancakes at first. Horrible experience overall, I wouldn’t recommend it to someone I did not like.

I couldn’t comment on the food because we never made it to a table. After calling in and being told it would be 30 minutes we were then quoted 30 minutes on arrival. After waiting for about 25 we were told it would be another 15 minutes. After An hour or so we were told that it would were told it would still be a bit and that the times are just estimates. My children were starving so we just left. I will never come back when visiting Cincinnati.
Bad Service. I keep going back because the pancakes are so good but, as usual the service is slow and a little bit rude. The hostess is unfriendly and you just can’t seem to get a refill on coffee. Come on guys, I’m trying to cut you a break and keep giving you my business. I keep hoping you might start to appreciate your customers. You are lucky the food is good!
Disappointed. I will start by saying this place has excellent food, but part of the dining experience is also customer service. The day I went in I called ahead to be placed on the wait list and was quoted 45 minutes. When I came in 45 minutes later I informed the woman at the front desk who stated she could seat us when she could. We got in line and ended up waiting another 30 minutes, the amount of time I would’ve waited if I hadn’t called ahead. When I my two friends and I got to the front of the line we asked what was the purpose of the call ahead wait list, and got an answer that was completely illogical. So we finally got seated a blonde woman came over, took our drink order, not introducing herself. We finally got our order in and everything seemed to be going smoothly. Until we realized our waitress never came back to give us coffee. So we waited. Fifteen minutes later we flagged down another waitress with a coffee pot. Then five minutes after that our waitress came out with coffee. I watched as people seated after us, in our waitress’s section, received their food. When our food finally came out we were missing items, at which point our waitress looks around the table and asks us what is missing before checking her notes. Then she disappeared again. And I mean disappeared. We rarely saw her. It was to the point where the table next to us was ready for their check and decided to get up and go find her. A busser came around and we asked him to send our waitress. When he asked who she was we could not answer because she never introduced herself to us. At the end of this horrible service we still had to pay a pricey breakfast bill for piss poor service. AND leave a tip because I’ve been a waitress before and I understand this is their main source of income. And I understand being a busy waitress, and I’ve never given or received such horrible service. I will NOT be going back here ever. Such a shame though, it was good food.
