My server made an effort to be friendly. Skip’s seems like a nice alternative to a daily Panera habit. Skip’s bagels are softer and more bread-like (baked?), but the menu is somewhat more diverse, including a cheeseburger restaurant with which Skip’s ambiguously shares its divided space.
Our Favorite Bagel Place!!. I am addicted to Skips breakfast bagel with eggs, ham, and swiss cheese on a salt bagel. They are generous with the delicious ham, and this is a very filling meal. Whether your first time or 21st time visiting, Skip’s people always make you feel like family. Though we moved from the Mason area to Anderson Township, we quite often get the urge to drive the 40 minutes to visit our favorite bagel place: Skip’s!!
This is my second bad experience at Skip’s Montgomery. About a month ago I ordered half a sandwich & salad combo. The girl told me she didn’t think it was an option. However, it’s right there on the menu. They were also out of spinach & shrimp for the salad I ordered. When I tried to make it easy by ordering a rye bagel…surprise they were out of those as well. Today I figured surely a bagel & cream cheese would be simple enough. I did actually get my order, but the boy at the counter yelled at me for ordering at the deli/ bakery. Hello it’s a bagel. I will not return to this location, which is a shame since the one in Westchester has staff that goes out of their way to be helpful & polite.
Skip’s has the best bagels in Cincinnati. The staff is friendly , especially Michael, and very courteous. I eat at Skip’s two or three times a month.
First Time. Not a bad place nice and cozy restaurant, many selections, great quality of meat Boars Head. Sorta pricey for lunch and a bagal sandwich comes with a side item a drink is additional, overall great quick serivce many items to choose from, Only one location i know of.
Great Bagels. Bagels are wonderful… also stop by next door and try a cheeseburger at Cheeseburger Cafe.. Best burger around! The restaurants are connected and both are delicious!
