Montgomery Ice Cream Tour: Walker Brothers Ice Cream…Montgomery may well be the ice cream center of the local universe, with frozen specialty shops spanning the length of Montgomery Road, Montgomerys main drag. Proceeding north from Scrumbles Cafe, is Walker Brothers Ice Cream, a seasonal kiosk hidden off a downtown parking lot behind other businesses. Their product is soft serve and the accommodations are adjacent patio furniture. Theres nothing remarkable about their product, but its refreshing on a hot summer day.
Great Tasting Ice Cream, Fun Atmosphere. My family and I have been coming to Walker Bros. since they first opened a few years ago. I love the flavor of the vanilla soft serve. It has a much creamier texture than the chain stores such as Dairy Queen. The shop is so convenient…right in the Montgomery Business District with tons of public parking nearby. There are plenty of items on the menu to choose from and they often offer entertainment on the weekends. We love it.
