Our first pick was to eat at J. Alexander’s, but they had an hour wait, so we decided to give Carver’s a try. Unfortunately, I can’t even give a rating based on our dining experience. My girlfriend and I were seated right away, but we were completely ignored! Several waiters walking by, some busy, others looking like they had nothing to do. We left after being seated for ten minutes. What’s most bothering is the hostesses appeared to be glaring at us as we were on our way out, not saying a word to us.There is a silver lining at least; we decided to wait at J. Alexander’s. In the end, we had a memorable dining experience there. We will never return to Carver’s. It’s a shame so many steakhouses are disappearing throughout the country. The way Carver’s does its business, I can certainly understand why.
