Not clean. The food and service has gone down hill in the past few years. If you look around the place needs a good cleaning. Very dusty, makes you wonder what the kitchen looks like.
Raw Salmon meal. Only 2nd time eating at Chop House, was served the Salmon dinner. Very good at first, then 1/2 way through the Salmon was not cooked, yes, it was raw. The manager came over, apologized, asked if there was anything else I would want, I asked for a bowl of potato soup to go. I did lose my appetite. The waitress brought me 2 cups of creamy potato soups to go with bread and butter. She brought the bill, the manager only approved to remove 1/2 the cost of the Salmon dinner. I guess because I ate the other 1/2. Unfortunately, I felt sick to my stomach. Seeing raw food and eating raw food does tend to make me queezy. I did not feel removing only 1/2 the bill was appropriate, I spoke up to the very nice apologetic server, and she went and argued my case. In the end, he did remove the entire meal off my bill as to be expected. Too little too late, this left a bad taste in my mouth. Common, our population who eats out would agree, take the meal off the bill. I mean, you did ruin the dinner!!!!!
Would someone PLEASE do something with the interior of this restaurant? It’s stuck in the 80s. Serioulsy, vinyl tablecloths? The food is ok, nothing to write home about. Service was ok, the waitress really only paid attention to half of our table. Don’t plan to visit again.
I LOVE THIS RESTAURANT. I have absolutely no complaints when it comes to the quality, price, or service!

Disappointment. Four of us dined at the Chop House recently. I had the Chop House Pork Chop, excellent as always. But my companions did not fare so well. The scrod was about the same as what is sold at Bob Evans, a sirloin steak was grisly, and the prime rib tasted like it came pre-cooked from Gordon’s. And the waiter was poor. We won’t go back.
