Wed been by here many times over the years but just never stopped in. We did just that last Saturday and are so glad we did. One of the cleanest restaurants Ive been to. You know the old adage greasy spoon, well not here. So, lets get to the food. Nothing out of the ordinary, we had breakfast. Waffles, eggs, toast, etc. all came out cooked perfectly, fresh and hot. The service was great and I still just cant get over the cleanliness of the building. I thought my mother had cleaned the place. Summing up; food good, service great, atmosphere great. On our favorites list.
A little out of way for us but well worth the trip, the stall and wait staff very friendly along with the customers, there is not two minutes go by with out thewaiter glance by to see if we need refills, we ordered steak and eggs and home made corned beef hash! All came out fast and hot.
We went back to George’s yesterday for breakfast, after a long break. The terrible waitress that we had the last time is gone, replaced by the usual sweet staff. The food is still great, home style favorites. Try anything broasted, the pork chops are delicious!

Went there sat. night for the first time. went with a friend i’m always skeptical about new places but liked what i read about it. it was everything they said it would be and then some. i was in the restaurant business for 28 years and am familiar with the business. the first thing i noticed was how clean it was, and the waitress was great i think her name was allison. i got the chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes with the greek salad it was excellent (real mashed potatoes). only problem we had that we had just got started with our salad and our food arrived, not a real big deal.i will be back and would and have recommended to my friends. best of luck!
Breakfast. The newly added waffles are very good. Better than most anywhere in the Dayton area. If you don’t like George’s, you don’t like to eat.
Luv George’s. They serve it all, and serve it well. Breakfasts are the BEST.Lunches are LIP-SMACKIN’ good. Dinners are DELICIOUS. So many favorites to choose from their extensive menu. Also luv the clean, relaxed and friendly environment. The staff, general manager and owners all have one goal in mind – YOU. And that can be perceived every time you visit.
